I have taught university-level classes in communication (theory, public speaking, writing, design, etc.); race, gender, and sexuality; and capstone courses providing individualized mentorship for final-year students. My pedagogy centers around my teaching philosophies of (1) fostering student-led learning, (2) nurturing curiosity beyond the classroom, and (3) prioritizing experimentation over mastery. Please reach out for a full teaching portfolio or sample course syllabi.

I am passionate about cultivating communities and spaces of learning beyond the university, as I have benefited greatly from such opportunities. I have experience leading a learning-reading collective for young adults in Seoul, as seen below.

Young Readers’ Collective (2021, Seoul, Korea)
After-school reading group for teens, engaging with The New York Times and The Penguin Book of Modern Speeches in critical discussion and reflective activities about the climate crisis, mobility and belonging, and international politics.
